Review:

Dairy Free and Happy! by Michelle Diana Lowe is an upbeat guide for children who suffer from dairy allergies.  Advice ranges from what to buy at the food store to school safety, sun protection, dealing with party treats, having a baking-day, staying positive, dealing with bullying and negativity, communicating with others, taking medication, and emergency services.  All-in-all, this book offers youngsters a simple take on coping with something that might otherwise be very difficult to deal with.

This audiobook version is narrated by Sarah McNamara. Her tone throughout is as upbeat and positive as the book itself.  At points, you can quite almost imagine the gigantic smile on her face as she reads the text.  I’m certain that this will appeal to young children who may be feeling down about their medical condition.

I would recommend this audiobook to any parent who has a young child suffering from dairy allergies — it may just provide the right amount of positivity during the most difficult of times!
